The 70th Menton Music Festival
The festival is run by Menton Council and Tourist Information from July 25th to August 13th 2019. The world's biggest classical artists come to perform on this fabulous baroque stage every year on the Côte d’Azur.
The Menton Music Festival was founded in 1950 by the Hungarian performer André Böröcz who fell in love with the forecourt at the Saint-Michel Archange Basilica and its picture-perfect setting. This magical spot perched above the sea whisks you away to a world of enchantment and adventure. The unspoilt nature of this open-air theatre makes it one of the most prestigious and oldest classical music festivals in Europe.

Menton Music Festival - 2019 Schedule
Book your tickets in advance to watch one of the performances on the forecourt at the Saint-Michel Archange Basilica during your stay on the Côte d’Azur. Every night at 9.30pm (12 dates from 25/07 to 13/08), watch some of the biggest performers on stage: Jordi Savall, Yuja Wang, Andreas Ottensamer, Patricia Petibon, Dimitri Naïditch, Béatrice Rana etc.
There are also concerts at the Palais de l’Europe at 6pm (9 dates from 26/07 to 11/08) with artists including Lisa de la Salle, Quatuor Allegri, Alexandre Melnikov and David Kadouch)
The last few years have seen the festival invite lesser-known but promising artists for free "Off" concerts on the Esplanade des Sablettes from 9.30pm on 24/07, 04/08 and 09/08.
