Parc Phoenix is a 7-hectare botanical garden and zoo boasting an imposing 25-metre-high pyramid-shaped greenhouse. Right at the heart of Nice, on the Promenade des Anglais, opposite the airport, discover 2 500 species of plants and more than 2 000 animals. Your walk takes you through 6 different tropical and subtropical climates.

The park has "Family plus" accreditation and offers numerous play areas for children along with services and activities designed especially for them.

The Botanical Garden of Nice invites you to discover flora from all 5 continents across its 3.4 hectares of vegetation. Discover more than 3 000 plant species spread over 40 different zones each representing a natural environment.

Created in 1983, the garden's mission is to preserve biodiversity and to pass on this magnificent natural heritage to future generations. Make the most of your visit to admire the impressive views over the Bay of Angels and the mouth of the Var river.

Cimiez Monastery Gardens are the oldest gardens along the French Riviera. As well as offering magnificent views over the east of the town, the garden is a real oasis of greenery and a haven of peace. Listen to the distant birdsong while admiring the flower beds and rose garden. 

Calm and very clean, it is the ideal place for those in search of a little peace and quiet. Take the opportunity to visit the nearby Matisse Museum and stroll through the garden of the Cimiez Arena.

Chambrun Park

At the centre of the residential district of Saint-Maurice, to the north of Nice, lies Chambrun Park, the last remains of the estate of the Count of Chambrun. 

Couples like to meet up at the 'temple of love', a former bandstand built at the heart of the garden. It is an imitation of the Temple of the Sibyl in Tivoli (Rome) which was destroyed a few years ago. There is also a majestic Lebanon Cedar which was planted at the end of the 18th century as well as a playground for children, making it the ideal place for a family outing.

A stone's throw from the Hôtel Florence Nice, the Promenade du Paillon is a hit with children thanks to its giant water mirror stretching over 3 000 m² and its numerous play areas.

This green walkway stretches from the Théâtre de Nice to the sea, passing through Place Masséna and the Albert I public garden. The landscaping takes you on a real journey across continents allowing you to discover plants and trees from all over the world.
