  1. Southern French olive oil

Whether it's for you or someone special, olive oil is the perfect gift to bring home in your suitcase after a break in the Nice sunshine. Nice olive oil is among the best in France for drizzling over your dishes or dipping your bread into.

Whether you like it plain, infused with basil, garlic, chilli, in miniature or standard bottles or even cans, you'll find what you're looking for at the Nicolas Alziari shop in the Vieux-Nice, making olive oil since 1868. You can also visit the oil mill, the last one on the Côte d’Azur, in the Madeleine district in Nice.

Take a slice of Nice home with you! Visit Bellet vineyard spanning almost 50 hectares on the Nice hilltops. You'll find Bellet wine at the world's best restaurants but it's a small-scale production so you'll struggle to pick up a bottle outside Nice.
