This year, like every year, the Nice Jazz Festival is coming to the Théâtre de Verdure and the Place Masséna to give you a musical show that'll simply blow you away. This 25^th edition is taking place from July 16 to 20, 2019.

As the world's very first jazz festival, the Nice Jazz Festival is a symbol of the 70-year love affair between Nice and jazz. Back in 1948, the festival very first edition kicked off with a show at the Opéra de Nice headlines by Louis Armstrong.

Until fairly recently, it was strictly jazz, but the event now welcomes contemporary music of all genres. It's a four-day festival putting on one concert after another, including jazz, sous, pop and world music. This year, the city of Nice is expecting more than 40,000 spectators throughout the festival for a vibrant and colourful 2019 edition.
