The council services in Menton begin cleaning the beaches in May so they are ready for summer. You can check out the standard of the water in Menton in real-time on the "bathing" website from the Health Ministry. There are also lifeguards at the beaches. All the beaches are monitored by lifeguards in summer, from July 1st to August 31st.
