Inspired by Italian Renaissance architecture, the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild was built in 1912 on the initiative of Baroness Beatrice Ephrussi de Rothschild, and bequeathed to the Académie des Beaux-Arts of the Institut de France in 1934.

When you arrive at the villa, first discover its beautiful pink architecture, then enter the vast patio before strolling through the floors. Outside, stroll the pathways of the 9 gardens with fountains, patios, ponds and more. One thing is for sure, this history-filled villa is a sight to behold.

You can enjoy a sweet and savory break in the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild's tea room restaurant, set up in Beatrice's former dining rooms and a terrace overlooking the sublime bay of Villefranche-sur-Mer.

In July and August, every Monday and Tuesday from 8pm to midnight, the villa organizes its famous Nocturnes de la Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild. The program includes musical and visual performances, an exceptional meal in the restaurant opened for the occasion or a basket meal to be enjoyed in the gardens.
