The visit offers plenty of variety, with a wide range of exhibits, sporting activities, films, works of art and equipment reconstructions.

Discover the history and development of sport

The National Sports Museum traces the history of different physical activities, from their origins to the present day, through an exhibition of various collectors' items (some dating back as far as the 16th century) and reconstructions.

Part of the exhibition is devoted to the origins of sport, with the Olympic Games, from Antiquity to the present day. You'll discover the practices and customs of the time. You can also see how the Olympic flames, mascots and medals have evolved over time.

The museum is then divided into sporting categories: individual, team and extreme sports, with a final section devoted to OGC Nice.

Football fans are in for a real treat! The section devoted to football features the shirts of great players, as well as replicas of major trophies. It also features audio and video clips of highlights such as the World Cup, portraits of legendary players, etc.

Our pick: A film that traces the great triumphs of French sport. 15 minutes of thrills and spills!
